Terms and Conditions
The terms every order on this site is placed under. You accept them at the checkout.
Terms and Conditions of Sale
These terms apply to every order placed through this website with Kalopa Robotics Limited ("we", "us"), a company registered in Ireland [company number], with its registered office at [registered address]. You can reach us at sales@kalopa.com.
1. Your order
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we accept your order by dispatching the goods, and we may decline or cancel an order before then, for example where an item is out of stock or was listed at an obviously incorrect price, in which case any payment is refunded in full.
2. Prices and VAT
Prices are shown in euro and include Irish VAT at the applicable rate. For delivery to another EU member state, VAT is charged at the rate applying in the country of delivery under the EU One Stop Shop scheme. Deliveries outside the EU are zero-rated for VAT; import duties, taxes and customs charges in the destination country are your responsibility and are not included in our prices or shipping charges.
3. Payment
Payment is taken in full at the time of order through the payment providers offered at checkout. We do not store your card details.
4. Delivery
Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout before you confirm your order. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If a parcel arrives damaged, please tell us within 48 hours and keep the packaging.
5. Right to cancel (consumers)
If you are buying as a consumer in the EU, you may cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving the goods, under the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013. Tell us in writing within that period, then return the goods to us within a further 14 days at your own cost, unused and in their original packaging. We refund the price and the standard delivery charge within 14 days of receiving the goods back. This right does not apply to goods made to your specification, or to sealed goods that have been unsealed after delivery where this affects their suitability for return.
6. Faulty goods and warranty
Consumers have a statutory right to goods that are as described, of merchantable quality and fit for purpose, and to a repair, replacement or refund if they are not. Electronic assemblies are supplied for use by people competent to handle them; damage caused by incorrect connection, reverse polarity, over-voltage, modification or physical abuse is not covered. Our products are not certified for safety-critical or life-support applications.
7. Business customers
Where you buy in the course of business, the consumer cancellation right in section 5 does not apply, and our liability for any claim arising from an order is limited to the price paid for it. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Your data
We use your details only to process and deliver your order, to meet our legal obligations, and to contact you about it. See our privacy policy for full details.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts. Consumers in another EU member state also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of their own country, and may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
